With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Strickland Carter of Suffolk, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Brown Strickland, Sr. and Irene Scott Strickland; her son Jeffrey Morse; and her sister Vickie Belch. She is survived by: her husband Cary Edwin Carter; her children, David Thomas Morse, Jr., Wanda Gail Carter, Penny Lynn Carter and Crystal Dawn Carter; her grandchildren, Sergio Carter, Casey Morse and Laila Rodriguez; her sister Rachel; her brother-in-law Steve Timmons; and her brother Ralph Brown Strickland, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
