He was predeceased by: his parents, David Lankford, Jr. and Lois Martin Lankford. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Britt Lankford; his son Darrell Lankford (Elaine); and his grandson Nicholas Lankford.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Home (206 W 4th Ave, Franklin, VA 23851). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Holland Baptist Church Building Fund.
