She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ward Nurney and Violet Nell Lewis Nurney of Windsor, VA.. She is survived by: her husband John E. Jones of Suffolk, VA; her brother Carlton Bert Nurney of Suffolk, VA.; and her pet Ruthie.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434).
