He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Myrick of Suffolk Virginia, Paulette Hawk Barnes of Suffolk Virginia, Jeanette Askew of Suffolk Virginia, Nellie Lawrence (John) of Suffolk Virginia, Lorraine Mackey (Quinton) of Portsmouth, Elton Askew (Sadie), Lonnie Askew (Teresa) of Suffolk Virginia, Allen Askew (Beverly) and Raleigh Askew of Portsmouth Virginia; his stepsister Sylvia Fields; his sister-in-law Sarah Hawk; and his cousins, Bryant K Hobbs and Alfred B Hobbs.
