He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smith; his daughter April Adkison (David); his grandchildren, Alyssa Peters (Noah), Kevin Babb (Kayleigh), Brandon Babb, Jenna Babb, Dallas Babb, Ayden Cutchin, Hallie Adkison and David Adkison, Jr.; and his siblings, Linda Crow (Frank) and Allen Smith.
