She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Felicia Cofield Brown; her stepchildren, Terrance Williams (Annette), Tyrone Williams (Freda) and Pamela Gray (Edward); her grandsons, Jordan Sykes, Daniel Brown and Gary White; her siblings, Cecile Cherry, Carolyn Johnson and Rutherford Ulysses Whitfield; her siblings-in-law, Walliyudin Shakir, Marlene Simmons and Glorine Strothers; and her close friends, Patricia Butts Thomas, Cynthia Griffin and Jennifer Baker. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
