With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Dean Bracey Redd (Suffolk, Virginia), who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Bracey and Gladys Bracey; her husband Cecil Redd; and her siblings, C. A., Robert, Tyrone, William Steele, Benjamin Bracey, Francis Gray, Evelyn Scott, Leona Jones, Betty Ann Richardson and Judith.
She is survived by: her sons, Ray (Charlotte) and Gregg (Claudia); her grandchildren, Courtney (Zach), David, Michael, Lexie and Jake; her sisters, Janice Scott and Glenda Carr; and her caregivers, LeeAnn Whitfield and Ravyn Taylor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department and Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad.
