She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Courtney and Ruby Courtney; and her husband Wallace E. Griffin, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Butch Griffin (Gina) of White Pine, TN and Lori Dodge (Robert) of Suffolk, VA; her grandchildren, Kristin, Jeremy and Drew; and her sisters, Jackie Griffin of Edenton, NC and Betty Luter of Virginia.
