He was predeceased by: his parent Homer Lee Henkel, Sr.; his daughter Elizabeth A. Henkel; his great grandchild Jackson Henkel; and his siblings, Phyllis M. Henkel, Hazel H. Cohron, Lyle L., James Marion, Harry H., Homer Lee, Jr., Charles L., William R. and Reginald G. Henkel.
He is survived by: his parent Edith Izora Henkel (Mitchell); his spouse Mary Katherine Ambler; and his children, Donald Henkel (Darlene), Barbara H. Einecker (Don), Sarah H. Ferguson (Tom) and Angie H. Mace (Don). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
