He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Anthony (Daniel) of Staunton and Kathy Gardner (Bernie) of Stuarts Draft; his grandchildren, Christopher Childress, Amber, Chad Childress (Marcie), Brandon Childress (Amanda) and Erica Cason (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Tucker Cason, Hunter, Waylon Childress, Rylee, Karlee Layne, Jayce Childress, Emily, Blake, Haley Puckett and Raelynn Childress; his siblings, Hansford Patterson, Frances Fultz and Katherine Huffman; his friends, Melvin "Cork" and Treva Bradley; his nephew Robert Huffman III; and also Pam.
