He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Elsie T. Shifflett (Davis); his wife Molly E. Shifflett; and his siblings, Kitty Ann Lucas, Hansford L. Lucas and Victor E. Shifflett.
He is survived by: his sons, Theodore B. Shifflett of Stuarts Draft, John L. Shifflett of Stuarts Draft and Norman B. Shifflett II (Rita) of Stuarts Draft; his sister Sherry Dawson of Stuarts Draft; his grandchildren, Hunter A. Shifflett and Briana N. Shifflett; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy Dillon and Gene Shifflett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
