Cowan, Sr.; her brothers, Edward Shields and Lewis Thomas Shields of Dover, DE.; her children, Katherine Schenker (Jerome) of Stuarts Draft, VA, Helen Brewbaker (Brian Sr.) of Blue Ridge, VA and William H. Cowan, Jr. (Laura) of Branchville, NJ.; her grandchildren, Justin Dunn (Rachel), Brian Brewbaker, Jr., Sarah Brewbaker and William H. Cowan, III (Caitlin); her great grandchildren, Raelynn and Liam; and her nieces and nephews, April Lopez, Lewis Shields and Thomas Shields.
