She was predeceased by: her spouse Johnnie Rush Steele; her parents, Hercy Franklin and Lora Burgess Coffey (Ramsey); her children, Robert Franklin "Bobby" Steele and Bonnie Craig (Steele); and her sisters, Marjorie C. Hatter (Alonza Lester Hatter, Jr.) and Lorine C. Allen (Glenn H. Allen).
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Lyle (William "Bill") of Staunton; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Steele (Beverly) of Stuarts Draft; her granddaughters, Michele Grimm (Rodney Schartiger) and Tonya Grimm (Jason Grasmick); her stepgrandson Bryan Scott Lyle (Chris); her great grandchildren, Jordan, Chris Weimer, Taylor, Trapper Wilson, Jessica, Justin Brown, Blake Yancey, Trace Schartiger, Braden Roughgarden, Morgan Adertons (Steve), Camren Lyle, Caden Lyle, Meghan Hansbrough (Tim) and Brad Schartiger; her great great grandchildren, Kylie, Gavin Hemp, Emmie Smith, Audrielle Weimer, Oaklyn Weimer, Bella Weimer, Laila Weimer, Presley Brown, Parker Brown, Ella Wilson, Mattex Wilson, Oaklan Wilson, Fallon Wilson and Aleta Wilson; and her nephew Philip Green.
