She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Vaughn and Margaret Vaughn (Whitt); and her son Matthew S. Arnold. She is survived by: her husband Marshall J. Lord; her children, Shane Marshall Lord of Stuarts Draft and Kimberly Ann Delisle of Fredericksburg; her grandchildren, Cassandra Lee, Desiree Ann, Fernand Arthur, Taylor Marie, McKayla Lynn and Brittany Anne; and her great grandchildren, Canyon James and Arden Jasper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
