In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact John had on those he encountered along his journey. Though John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Estelle Groome, and John C. Groome, Sr.; his brother Robert Groome; and his niece Teresa Groome. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Kimberly Howerton (Scott) and John "Eddie" Groome (Kelly); and his grandson Hunter Howerton (Faith Kelso). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.
