He was predeceased by: his parents, James Scott, Sr. and Joetta Lois Weller; his son James Christopher Wriston; and his brothers, Kirt Alan Wriston and Robert Wriston.
He is survived by: his daughter Candace Wriston; the mother of his child Linda; his daughter Stephanie Monroe; his siblings, Pamela Mader, Brian Wriston (Charlotta) and Tina Jordan; his grandson Chancellor Deas; and his stepmother Sandra Wriston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Henry Funeral Home (1030 W Beverley St, Staunton, VA 24401). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
