He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clifton and Antoinette Eggleston (Bentler); and his siblings, Charles Thomas "Tom" Eggleston and Judith "Judy" Mosena. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Eggleston (Heckenberg); his children, Ryan Eggleston (Rachel Bowman) of Cedar Rapid, Jeffrey Eggleston of Stuarts Draft and Megan Eggleston of Stuarts Draft; his sister Mary Kristina Rinker of Burlington, Iowa; and his sister-in-law DeeAnn Eggleston of Burlington, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jerry's memory to the Stuarts Draft Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 260, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477 and/ or the St. John Building Fund.
