He was predeceased by: his father Berman "Cotton" Cleo Coffey; and his niece Amy Nicole Eavey. He is survived by: his mother Ola Mae Coffey of Staunton; his son Ray Coffey (Crystal) of Stuarts Draft; his grandchildren, Kyle Coffey, Kody Coffey and Jeffrey Billings; his siblings, James Coffey (Susan) of Rockbridge Baths, VA, Sadonna Coffey of Weyers Cave and Kim Harris (Steve) of Stuarts Draft; his nieces, Renee Burkholder, Heather Griffin and Sara Eavey; and his close friend Robin Toms (Marilee).
The family will receive friends from 4:00 P. M. to 8:00 P. M. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 (following Mandatory Regulation for COVID-19) at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home in Fishersville.
