It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doyle Patterson of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, born in Wooster, Ohio, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Patterson and Clista Arverst Patterson (Aukerman); and his siblings, Forrest, Wayne Patterson, Norma Sturgis and Edna Patterson.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughter Patricia Gibson; and his stepchildren, Gayle Wenzel, Eddie Spry and Rhett Dudley. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice, Pat had a special interest for animals.
