He was predeceased by: his parents, Merlyn Thomas and Ella Dean Hite Sweet; and his wife Sarah "Dude" Jean Lipscomb Sweet. He is survived by: his son Nathaniel David Sweet; his brother Thomas Hall Sweet; his granddaughters, Lillian and Ginger Sweet; and his friend Linda Lipscomb.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Faith Worship Center (2522 Tinkling Spring Rd, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477).
