He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Sr. Varner and Bertha Varner (Glenn); and his sister Joyce Thornton. He is survived by: his nephew Wesley Allman; his wife Maureen Varner; his son Greg Varner; his grandsons, Brayden and Brennen Varner; his pet Nova; his sisters, Mary Ellen Coffey and Betty Allman; his nieces and nephews, Donnie Allman, Thad Coffey, Chad Coffey, Jack Statler, Carol Huffman and Susan Brown; and his great-nieces, Gracelynn Statler and Kahli Harman. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, a large extended family, and many friends.
