He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Harris, Sr. and Beatrice H. Harris; his daughter Cheri Leigh Harris; and his niece Janet Harris. He is survived by: his wife Linda Harris; his sons, Charles "Chuck" Harris, II (Betty) and Chad Harris (Shannon); his grandchildren, Lyndsay Harris and Colton Harris; his siblings, Nettie Pierce (Ronald) of Denton and John W. Harris (Margaret) of Waynesboro, Virginia; and his nieces, Beatrice Sprouse, Pam Beatty and Tami Quick. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren and one step-great granddaughter.
