It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Sanford Ritchie (Stuarts Draft, Virginia), who passed away on October 26, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Birdie Teter (Ritchie); his wife Thelma "Sue" Ritchie (Brown); his daughter Carol Alice Curry; and his grandson Charles Ritchie. He is survived by: his daughters, Viola R. Harman, Diane F. Lockridge (Ronald "Luke") and Janet K. Sorrell (Fred). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
