It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arrie Stowe Barnett Jr. (Stuarts Draft, Virginia), born in Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on October 11, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jewell Hale, Bonnie McGrady, Ellen Sims and Ronald Barnett. He is survived by: his spouse Thelma Estelle "Estie" Doyle; his siblings, Joree Bryant, Mary Underwood, Harold Underwood, Thomas Barnett, Jean Barnett, Lydia Honeycutt and James Honeycutt; and his grandchildren, Ryan Barnett (Shiloe), Amy Barnett, Sarah Barnett and Kirk Barnett. He is also survived by his wife of 67 years; sons.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Archie's memory to the Calvary United Methodist Church Food Bank, and /or the Hospice of the Shenandoah, PO Box 1000, Fishersville, Virginia.
