He was predeceased by: his parents, John Krozer and Doris Messersmith (Fick) of Virginia; and his brother David Messersmith. He is survived by: his wife Miriam Messersmith (Lind) of Stuarts Draft, Virginia; his children, Bethany Radcliffe (Mark) of Lexington, KY, Andrew Messersmith (Maureen Waweru) of Philadelphia, PA, Ashley Brusma (Sadrac) of Columbia, SC and Matthew Messersmith (Grace) of Lititz, PA; his grandchildren, Charlotte Messersmith and Marabelle Brusma; and his brothers, Ronald and John Messersmith.
