She was predeceased by: her parent Claude Emerson Ferguson; and her sister Jerleen Mayhew. She is survived by: her husband Virgil A. Burnett of Stuart; her daughters, Catherine Clark (Eddie) of Richmond and Melody Johnston (David) of Oak Hill; her grandchildren, Amy Catherine Herring (Joe) and Eric Lyle Clark (Sara); her great grandchildren, Meredith Grace Herring, Emmaline Jane Clark, McKenzie Leigh Herring and Micah Clark Herring; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Small of Lenoir and Frances Wyatt of Killeen, Texas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
