She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Jewell Hughes, Sr. and Monnie Delene Pendleton Hughes; and her son John Daniel "J. D." Phillips. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Delene Morrison, Heather Dawn Morrison Spence (Eddie) and Rebecca Diane Phillips; and her siblings, Patrick Hughes, Jr., Beverly Siler and Kenneth Hughes. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
