She was predeceased by: her parents, Edna Joyce Yates and George Cabel Yates; and her siblings, Pauline Clark, Robert Yates and Claude Yates.

She is survived by: her husband Norman Biggs; her children, Yolanda Biggs Coleman (Dale) of Martinsville, VA and Nathan Ray Biggs of Dublin, VA; and her grandsons, Christopher Steven Gravley and Aaron Anderson Biggs.

Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Stuart Chapel (129 Howell Ln, Stuart, VA 24171). A memorial service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
