She was predeceased by: her husband Pete Slate. She is survived by: her children, Jessica Gregory (Edward) and James Slate (Erin); and her grandchildren, Arya, Slate Gregory, Wyatt and Wade Slate.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Slate Family Cemetery.
