She was predeceased by: her father Norfleet Ray Cole; her husband Billy Graham Mitchell, Sr.; her son-in-law Carl Collie; and her siblings, Peggy Diane Lee and Mack Cole.
She is survived by: her daughters, Louise (Ellyson Frick) and Jackie (Ronnie Kendrick); her granddaughter Ashley McAvoy; and her brother Hugh Cole of Lumberton, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
