He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Tamblyn Curry and Mary Luree Bean Curry; his wife Nancy Jane Stovall Curry; his son Howard Barry Curry; and his daughters-in-law, Amy Curry, Beverly Curry and Delene Curry.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Lee Curry (Patty) of Omaha, Nebraska, Raymond Dale Curry of Stuart and Alan Ray Curry of Stuart; his grandchildren, Mickey Curry (Lynnel) of Raleigh, Sarah Proksel (Dave), Katie Peatross (Carter) of North Oaks, Ben Curry of Mt. Vernon, Scott Curry (Devin McDermott) of Kansas City, Thad Curry (Tyger) of Stuart, Kimberly Steele (Ryan) of King and Nathaniel Curry of Stuart; and his great grandchildren, Will, Evann, Nick, Abby, Annie, Jack, Grace, Joey, Tessa, Ruthie and Lottie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at the Stuart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to High Point Baptist Church, 2381 Big A School Road, Stuart, Virginia 24171.
