It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Smith Wright of Stuart, Virginia, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Smith and Virginia Williams Smith; and her husband Charles E. Wright. She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Pamela Wright), James Wright of Danville and Kristy Leigh; her son-in-law Trey King of Stuart; and her siblings, Cheryl Strange of Winston-Salem, NC, Charlene Jackson of North Carolina, Cindy Benson of Martinsville, Marty Elliott of Clarence and Elliott of Martinsville. She is also survived by five grandchildren; one great grandchild.
