He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray B. Pendleton and Virginia Lucinda Mize Pendleton; his wife Mabel V. Pendleton; and his siblings, Doris Eva Shelton, Benford E. Pendleton and Alvis A. Pendleton.

He is survived by: his brother Leon T. Pendleton of Stuart.
