We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2024, at the age of 80, Monroe Edward Haynes Jr. of Stuart, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Edward Haynes, Sr. and Virginia Foley Haynes; and his brother Walter Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lou Martin Haynes; his son Bradley; his daughter-in-law Angie Haynes of Bassett, VA; his daughter Lori Ann; his son-in-law J. D. Morse of Stuart, VA; his grandchildren, Madison Haynes Webb (Andrew), Monroe Morse and Martin Morse (Julianna Overby); his siblings, Ronnie Haynes (Anita Foley), Kennie (Sandy Haynes), Betty Cannaday of Floyd, VA and Carolyn (Gaylon Moran); his sister-in-law Marilyn Haynes of Christiansburg; and his caregiver Bonnie Goad. He is also survived by his family, he especially loved being a Papa to his grandchildren.
