Miles Sylvester Harris Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Miles Sylvester Harris of Stuart, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Oscar Allen Harris and Linda Belle Surratt Harris; and his brother James Dale Harris. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Jean Conner Harris; his children, Wanda Carr (Jerry), Sandra Belcher (Robert), Michael Belcher (Teresa), Bobby Harris and Eddie Harris (Alison); and his siblings, Leon Harris (Beverly), Mavin Harris (Crystal) and Linda Hatcher (Bert). He is also survived by six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Slate Mountain Evangelical Presbyterian Church (239 Rock Church Rd, Meadows of Dan, VA 24120). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
