She was predeceased by: her father Ernest Inman; her husband Leonard William Howell; her son Randall Howell; and her siblings, Ernest Junior Inman, Blanche Collins and Etta Mae Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Anne (Billy Quesenberry), Sally (Greg Manley), Mary (Stanley Hill), Amy (DeWitt Clark) and Thomas; her daughter-in-law Dixie Howell of Patrick Springs; her sister Rachel Martin of Danville; and her pet Sam. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren.
