She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Caroline Clemens Brown and Joseph Janney Brown. She is survived by: her husband Harold Dwight Herndon; her children, Cheryl Herndon of Danville, VA, Joseph "J. J." John Herndon (Angie) of Danville, VA and Ronald Scott Herndon (Christie) of Blairs, VA; and her grandchild Ivy Herndon.
