She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Midkiff and Pearlie Underwood Midkiff; and her siblings, Evilene Plough, Mae Bray, Josephine Midkiff, Sandra Watkins, Eural, Buren, Wythe, Edward and Richard Midkiff.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Lawson; her son Clyde Allen Lawson of Stuart; and her siblings, Marie Thompson of Ferrum and Hershel "Hub" Midkiff of Ferrum. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
