He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney A. Jones, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth "Tottie" Goins Jones; his brothers, Paul Thomas Jones, Leon Allen Jones and Sidney A. "Junior" Jones, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Lynn Shouse.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Greenwood Jones; his son Wes Jones (Cynthia Turney) of Stuart; his grandson Kip Jones; his siblings, Patsy Shouse, Judy (Bobby Gardner), Robin (Bobby Pack) and Lloyd; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Jones of Stuart, Ann Overby Jones of Westfield, NC and Wanda Parrish Jones of Stuart.
