With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Benton Wood of Stuart, Virginia, who passed away on July 22, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Clyde Wood; and his siblings, Jesse Marlin Wood and Margaret Wood Turner (Glenn). He is survived by: his wife Betty Foley Wood; his son James Curtis Wood (Diane); his grandchildren, Savanah Marie Wood of Roanoke and Ryan Mathew Wood of Roanoke; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Foley of Stuart, Sammie Foley (Helen) of Stuart and Angie Foley of Stuart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
