He was predeceased by: his father John Johnson Bird; his wife Barbara Ann Grieco Bird; his granddaughter Ashley Belcher; his stepfather Albert Nowlin; his brothers, John, Bobby and George Bird; and his son-in-law Brett Nichols.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Nichols of Meridian, ID, Jackie (Bobbi Jo Bird), Bobby (Audrey Bird), Kenny (Debbie Bird), Matt (Tonya Bird) and Teddy (Stacie Bird). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two sisters.
