She was predeceased by: her father Edward Hiatt; her husband Thomas Sandy Simmons; and her siblings, Mildred Hiatt Bondurant, Delphia Fenton Hiatt and Edward Carlman Hiatt.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Lyn Simmons of Mount Airy; her sister Naomi H. Venable of Clemmons, NC.; and her sister-in-law Susan W. Hiatt of Greenville, NC.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the rise in Covid cases in our area, we would kindly recommend masks be worn.
