He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Campbell Brewer and Hobert Brewer Sr.; and his brothers-in-law, Johnny Collins and J. B. Heldreth Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hylton Brewer; his children, Donna Brewer Petty (Robert) of Floyd, VA and Scott H. Brewer of Lancaster, PA; his sister Barbara B. Collins of Hopewell, VA; his grandsons, Mark and Adam Petty; his nephew Ray Collins (Debbie); and his sister-in-law Katherine H. Heldreth.
