He is survived by: his wife Nancy Adams Flippin of Stuart, VA.; his children, Jon C. Flippin (Carolyn) of Ararat, VA and Christina Lyon (Tim) of Youngsville, NC; his grandchildren, Clay Flippin of Mt. Airy, NC, Kayla L. Bailey (Jonas) of Raleigh, NC, Rachel Lyon of Raleigh, NC and Drew Lyon of Raleigh, NC.; his great grandchild Miss Addison Lynn Bailey; his siblings, Virginia Vaden of Westfield, NC and Walter R. Flippin (Bernell) of Franklinton, N. C.; and his sister-in-law Gracie Adams.
