He was predeceased by: his parents, Greeley Thomas Hylton and Lena Ella Hylton; his wife Alvina Goode Hylton; and his siblings, Mildred Minter, Willie Hylton and James Hylton.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hylton of Ridgeway, Becky Hylton of Woolwine and Barry Hylton (Shaun Richardson) of Weymouth, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Nichole VanZile of Mechanicsville and Bradley Fain of Bassett, Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Ashlyn VanZile of Mechanicsville, Virginia and Owen VanZile of Mechanicsville, Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
