It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyle Jordan of Stuart, Virginia, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on May 8, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Jordan, Sr. and Anna Marie Allen Jordan; his sister Joyce Smith; and his father-in-law John Pendleton. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Pendleton Jordan; his sons, Aaron Moore (James) of Stuart, Travis Jordan (Stacie) of Firestone and Darren Jordan of Stuart; his grandchildren, Cole, Delia, Caitlyn, Taylor and Gabriel; his stepgrandchildren, T. J. Moore and Sara Moore; his brothers, Bert Jordan, Jr. of Yukon and Ronnie Jordan (Rosa Lee) of Maynardville, Tennessee; his mother-in-law Ann Pendleton of Stuart; his siblings-in-law, Jon Pendleton (Angie) of Sandy Ridge and Lynn Wilson (Jonathon) of Stuart; and his niece Sydney Wilson.
