Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hardman Holt and Mary Whitter Holt; and his sister Anne Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Judith Holt; his sister Julia Head; his children, Sally Baker (Jacob) and Richard Holt (Sabine); and his grandchildren, Philip, Alyssa and Fiona.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (202 W Blue Ridge St, Stuart, VA 24171).
