With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Hopkins Tatum of Stuart, Virginia, who passed away on October 20, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ellis Hopkins and Lillian Maude Cochran Hopkins; her husband Thomas C. Tatum, II; her siblings, Lora H. Griffith, Mae Pace, Marie Edwards, Anita Cox, Lloyd Hopkins, Hoy Hopkins and Lloyd Soyars; and her son-in-law Jeff Wigington.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Tatum Wigington of Stuart and Tommie Tatum (Carolyn) of Stuart; her grandchildren, T. C. Tatum (Stacey), Tracy Hannold (Jerod), Misty Rogers (Greg) and Monica Gravely; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Kaden, Brendan, Emery, Amber, Joseph, Samuel and Sydney; her great great grandchild Harper; and her brothers, George Hopkins of Stuart and Clint Hopkins (Nancy) of Roanoke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
