He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Elgin and Era Conner Elgin; and his brothers, Elmer Lee Elgin and Walter Elgin. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Clark Elgin; his children, Stacie Elgin-Wiltshire of Mount Laurel and Donald Gene Elgin, Jr. of Stuart, Virginia; his grandchildren, Amber Lee Elgin of Mount Airy and Ethan Isaiah Wiltshire of Medford Lakes; his sister Verna Hill (John) of Stoneville; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Elgin of Stuart and Elva Elgin of Collinsville, Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many dear friends.
