He is survived by: his parents, Teresa Moore Shields and Frank M. Shields; his sister Chelsea Burns (Robert) of Danville, VA; his niece Francesca; his nephew Sebastian Burns; his godparents, Lisa Shields and Craig Howie; his uncle Barry Shields; and his pet Barkley.
